With the maturity of thought, as one becomes wiser and wiser, one's sojourn in this mundane world becomes more and more of nobler traits, with gradual convergence from wider and wavering side tracks in contemplation of the realisation of the Almighty.
This path towards convergence is described well by Annamachaarya in his sankeertana, "Daiva Mokkade Santata Bhaja Niyudu"
The 'Almighty Within' is the only one who is ever venerable. And He being in all forms of the creation, all these should be respected and treated with equanimity. This thought should never be forsaken through out one's existence on this earth.
'Since the Almighty resides in all beings, no one should be ill treated and rebuked. As one contemplates, all these worlds themselves are not permanent in nature. Realising this, one should not develop attachment about the transitory beings of these worlds.
'Nature is creation and manifest form of the Almighty only. Hence no human being can ever think of meddling in and trying to command over it. The very origin of this nature is Illusory; meant for taking on various shapes and forms from time to time. Hence one should not waste precious time in probing into it. When the all-pervading Almighty has blessed this present 'form' to us, is it not worthwhile to be satisfied and thankful to Him?
'Whatever act of penance or worships one indulges in, it should be construed for the gratification of the Almighty only. And conducting them is a laborious and expensive process, More over, these rituals require attendance and help of other people. But whatever is done, it should be only with the felling of servitude to the Almighty. And one should not go on debating the merits of each rite and ritual. But apart from these, is it not worthwhile to get rid of all these circuitous means and directly go in for the service of the Almighty?'.........
Thus we are well informed about the meaningful culmination of our transitory sojourn in this ephemeral plane in 'realisation of servitude' for salvation!
Dawn of Wisdom!
Om Shanti!
