'Paramatma Swarupa Pranamam' ! - Salutation to the Form of the Almighty! This is the innate humble greeting with all beings - human, animal, bird, plant and other non-moving manifestations I come across, more frequently in my daily walk in the park, apart from touching the Mother Earth with bare hands and feet, showing gratitude to Her for keeping me hale and hearty throughout. This veneration, being fully aware of One Almighty pervading in all (Samam Sarveshu Bhuteshu Tishtantam Parameswaram-Gita), is maintained, by nature, till the present Form is renounced.
The all-pervading nature of the Almighty and its experiencing by the ardent seeker is well depicted by Annamacharya in his sankeertana, "Hari Nive Sarvatmakudavu".....
'O Almighty! You are the root as well as embodiment of all individual souls manifest. Please bless me with the same 'feeling' of Your 'Omni-Presence in all beings'.
'My eyes are carried away by the glitters. Even unwarranted objects do not escape from my ever hungry sight. Please grace me the knowledge that all those coming into my sight are in fact Your variegated Forms only.
'Even if I shut my eyes, there is another mischievously tempting element; It is my Mind.. It always distracts me towards all unholy matters. With the predominance of 'rasas' - emotions and moods; within me playing vital role, it has become difficult to avoid unwholesome thoughts. O Almighty! Please let me be aware that even the work of these 'rasas' - emotions and moods; in me is part of Your illusory play only.
'O Lord! Once both my eyes and mind together become vigorous, my body yields and goes after them. It seeks worldly pleasures and being unsatisfied with one, it runs after more and more of them. Even if the whole world is offered, it is not satiated. O Almighty! Please let me be aware of the Truth that all these are of Your own making, part of Your play and belong to You only.'......
When a task is taken up our aim should be for the best results to accrue out of it. And this applies to 'Walking ' too. It becomes not only thrilling but also bears hundred percent fruition when it is 'Mindful' as I had dealt in 'Divine Persuit' of 15.01.'16, "Mindful Walk - A Thrill". Even more beneficially, it is an opportunity to be with the Almighty in various Forms around us. This is also a chance of putting into practice our Seers' Divine Precepts about Omni-Presence, in the path of Realisation!
