Sankeertanas of Annamacharya are replete with such spiritual knowledge that, they serve as eye openers as well as torch bearers in the path of realisation. In the sankeertana, "Sadibette Gatakata Sansaramu", Annamacharya gives such an immunity, from the mundane trials and tribulations, to the seekers who are in total surrender to the Almighty Within, that it serves as an enthusiastic fillip in the present day spiritual journey. He deals about the hardships faced in this material world. It is as if at the threshold of the Yama, the Death God. Nobody knows when one's turn comes for surrender to the Yama. It is like groping in narrow lanes and by-lanes as in a maze. But it is a matter of great relief that the spiritually awakened ones in the refuge of the Almighty Within can always be rest assured with peace of mind............
'Alas! This sansara (material world) has landed me in countless humiliations. It is like endless swim in the vast ocean.
'It is like a cry away from the clutches of the Yama, the Death God. Always on tenterhooks with the fear of surrender to the Death God. It is like sapping off energies by terminable diseases which never give relief. It is like fighting at the war field. When the end of life comes nobody knows.
'It is like the rope knot binding two ships afloat together. When it gets snapped nobody knows. It is like pushing through the narrow lanes and by-lanes. Nobody knows about the amount of filth attracted by the body. It is like the life of the moon with phases of wax and wane. No one can ever specify its behaviour.
'It is like the scorching sun in the season of winter, making one fidget with uneasiness. It is like 'gilt' gold being trivial at the core. But Oh My Almighty! There is exceptional succour to those who have taken refuge in You. They are always at ease in this Sansara (material world) with the feel of coolness in winter'...........
Thus, the 'Taraka Mantra', the 'Talisman', for the seekers is 'total surrender' to the Almighty Within and experiencing the happiness of relief from the deluding affectations and afflictions in this earthly existence !
