NAISHKARMYA STHITI - I'M NOT THERE, I'M WITH ONE AND ONLY ONE

In vedanta there are two words with finer differentiation  in  meaning.  One is 'Nishkama Karma' which means, in  general, performance of action  without anticipation (Karma Phala Apeksha Rahita or Karma Phala Nirasaktata); the other word is 'Naishkarmya Sthiti'; Performance of actions, by being in the state of 'I am not there'- the state which transcends all actions and inactions of the realised, when one's identity is with the One and Only One Consciousness - The Sublime Stage Indeed !

A realised soul  only can have the audacity of accepting humbly all trials and tribulations encountered in the earlier spiritual growth  of his life and accepts and declares to the world, the necessity of the Parama Guru who will correct our course and grace us with the knowledge of realisation in this very life.

On an earlier occasion, in the post, "State of a Realised Soul" of 24.03.2016, we had observed the trait of the 'realised'  in his 'excuses' about non-adherence to performance of laid down chores behoved of him in the society he born into. And in the present post we deal with the  Guru 'Facctor' that dis-entangles through mundane affairs and guides towards realisation.

What happens if one does not get a learned mentor for proper guidance, we realise from the sankeertana, "Bodhaku Levvaru Leka Bhogi Naitini", of Annamacharya.  One must not forget that even to realise the 'vanity' of trudging in the material pleasures and sincerely making a concerted effort to get out of that rut, is possible only by the grace of the Almighty Within and that too only to a meagre deserved ones........

'All these days I dwelt in the sensual pleasures.  I wasted my time in the absence of proper Guru who could teach me what is good and what is bad.  But all my worries were bygone with the awakening about the Almighty Within.

'At the time of entering mother's womb I was naked.  I grew gradually with the nutrients from the mother. I was not conscious about my sense organs within womb.  After coming in to this world, I plunged in to the family matters and other worldly affairs.

'As the tendencies of the worldly matters reduced, I started paying attention on the solitary recluse life going into deeper meditation planes.  And after gaining the state of transcending consciousness, I started to live the life of a performer  without anticipation (Nishkama Karma Yogi).  I tried different methodologies of yogic karmas.

'Having left away all those countless desires and making my heart and mind pristine pure in every thought, I started experiencing the all-pervading 'being' in myself.  I an a realised soul now.  This is on account of the grace of the Almighty Within.  Now I am with the 'One and Only One'....

Thus the ultimate knowledge is revealed with affection and kindness  by our seers.  Our Identity is only One - the Supreme Consciousness !
